Israeli occupation forces and illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers carried out attacks across the occupied West Bank on Thursday, abducting Palestinians, establishing military roadblocks, firing tear gas, and attacking residents, vehicles, and agricultural lands.
In Bethlehem, in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the city and the nearby town of Doha, deploying around Bab az-Zqaq, the Russian Roundabout and Jerusalem-Hebron Street. No homes were invaded, and no abductions were reported.
Later, soldiers established a military roadblock in the ash-Shoula area, at the entrance to the western Bethlehem countryside serving Battir, Nahalin, Husan and Wadi Fukin. They stopped, searched Palestinian vehicles, and inspected residents’ identification cards.
In Hebron, in the southern West Bank, Israeli colonizers attacked Palestinians and blocked their path in Khallet al-Hummus, south of Yatta.
Israeli forces then invaded the area and abducted six Palestinians, including two brothers from the al-Haddar family, while detaining others from the al-Masri family, local activist Osama Makhamra said.
Makhamra added that another group of colonizers, accompanied by Israeli soldiers, attacked the family of Fadel al-Haddar and attempted to force them from a shelter they had erected after the army demolished their home the previous day.
Furthermore, Mahmoud Obeid al-Masri reportedly lost consciousness after soldiers detained and assaulted him in Khallet al-Hummus.
In Khirbet Janba, in Masafer Yatta, colonizers broke more than 50 olive trees belonging to Mousa Odah Mohammad after driving livestock into Palestinian fields.
Soldiers also abducted a young man in Masafer Yatta, invaded Beit Ummar north of Hebron, and established a military roadblock at the entrance to al-Arroub refugee camp, where they stopped and mistreated Palestinians.
Israeli forces also continued bulldozing Palestinian land and opening a colonial road in al-Majd village, west of Doura, in Hebron in the southern West Bank.
Near Ramallah, in the central West Bank, colonizers invaded the vicinity of Ramallah Park, which is frequented by Palestinian families, and roamed near the ar-Reehan neighborhood, alarming residents and their children.
East of Tubas, in the northeastern West Bank, colonizers blocked the road to the northern Yarza community with stones for the tenth time in recent days.
Mukhles Masa’id, head of the Yarza Village Council, said the obstruction impeded Palestinian movement and access to the community, describing it as part of repeated colonizer attacks intended to restrict residents’ movement.
Near Nablus, in the northern West Bank, colonizers blocked Road 17 between the city and Asira ash-Shamaliya and hurled stones at passing Palestinian vehicles, damaging several, according to local sources.
In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the city and fired tear gas canisters at the main roundabout.
Soldiers also invaded Silat al-Harithiya, west of Jenin, broke into homes and detained several Palestinians.
Earlier Thursday, Israeli occupation bulldozers demolished five residential structures, displacing around 30 Palestinians, and a sheep shelter on Thursday in the Wadi Al-Beik area of Anata town, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.
Also, Israeli colonizers set fire to farmland in Burqa, east of Ramallah, and burned an agricultural structure in Eghzeiwa, east of Yatta and south of Hebron.
In addition, Israeli forces carried out massive invasions across the occupied West Bank early Thursday, shooting five Palestinians and assaulting residents. Soldiers also broke into homes, abducted dozens of residents, and imposed military roadblocks.
