A number of nonviolent Palestinian activists managed to raise Palestinian flags, on Monday evening, in the Efrat illegal Israeli settlement, built on Palestinian lands south of the West Bank city of Bethlehem.Coordinator of the Popular Committee against the Wall and Settlements in Bethlehem Hasan Breijiyya said a group of activists managed to enter the illegal settlement through its eastern entrance, and raised Palestinian flags near a number of homes.
Israeli soldiers and police officers then notices the Palestinians, and chased them, but was unable to capture any of them.
Mohammad Mheisin, Coordinator of the Popular Committee in the Southern Part of the West Bank, told the WAFA Palestinian News Agency that the Palestinians will continue their nonviolent resistance activities against Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
