The Israeli Air Force carried out, on Friday morning, several airstrikes targeted various areas in Khan Younis and Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, and in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.
Media sources in Khan Younis said the Israeli war jets fired missiles into an open area, behind Khuza’a School, east of Kahn Younis, causing damage.
Meanwhile, the soldiers also fired at least five artillery shells into Palestinian agricultural lands, east of Khuza’a town, and two shells into lands, south of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.

On Friday at dawn, the army fired three artillery shells into lands east of Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
The Al-Quds Brigades of the Islamic Jihad, and the Al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas, warned that by continuing to target civilian areas in the Gaza Strip, Israel seems to be escalating the situation, to push armed groups in Gaza to retaliate the same way.
The statements came after the Israeli army fired several shells, on Thursday evening, into the al-Fakhari area, in Khan Younis, killing a 55-year-old Palestinian woman, identified as Zeina Ateyya al-‘Amour, 55.
The Israeli army said its attacks came “in retaliation to two mortar shells fired at army vehicles, operating near the border fence” (On Thursday), causing no damage or injuries.
In addition, an Israeli army spokesperson said the army fired missiles into sites run by the Hamas movement in southern Gaza, “in retaliation to mortar fire from Gaza in recent days.”
The army added that Hamas fighters also fired a mortar that detonated near military vehicles driving near the border fence, causing no damage or injuries.
It is worth mentioning that the Israeli bombardment of Gaza started three days ago, in intermittent, separate attacks. But the Israeli army has been conducting limited invasions, and bulldozing lands and property, on a daily basis, in addition to constant attacks against Gaza fishers and their boats.
