Israeli soldiers invaded, Friday, Palestinian olive orchards in Qosein village, west of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, attacked many villagers while in their orchards, kidnapped one of them and forced the rest out of their lands.

The soldiers told the villagers that they must leave their orchards, and forced them to stop the picking of their olive trees.

Ghassan Daghlas, a Palestinian Authority official in charge of monitoring Israeli settlement policies in the occupied territories, said the villagers were unable to continue picking their olive trees.

He added that the latest attack is part of ongoing violations carried out by the soldiers, and groups of extremist Israeli colonists, living in illegal colonies and outposts, built on Palestinian lands.

Daghlas stated that the villagers in several villages and towns, in the Nablus district, have been facing constant attacks, especially over the last two weeks, since the beginning of the olive harvest season.
