Israeli soldiers invaded, on Saturday evening, the town of Jaba’, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, and caused several Palestinians to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation.
Media sources in Jenin said several army jeeps invaded the town, and conducted provocative acts, targeting many Palestinians, before local youngsters started hurling stones at the soldiers.
They added that the soldiers fired many rubber-coated steel bullets and gas bombs, causing many Palestinians to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation.
All wounded Palestinians received the needed medical treatment by local medics, without the need hospitalize any of them.
In related news, the soldiers detained two young men at two military roadblocks at the main entrance of Jaba’, and at the eastern entrance of the town.
The soldiers stopped and searched dozens of cars, and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
