Family of detainee Fadil Odeh Shahin, 44, from Gaza, appealed international and local human rights organizations to help them and campaign for his release, since he is suffering from critical health conditions.
Shahin is suffering from a bad health condition since he developed arteriosclerosis, rheumatism, and prostate complications while prison administration is not providing him with the needed medical treatment and attention.
Shahin was arrested October, 15, 2004, in Gaza.
The family of Shahin told the WAFA news Agency that contacted several institutions and organizations in an attempt to release him and enable him to receive the needed medical treatment.
The family expressed deep concerns over the life of Shahin, who is currently in a deteriorating health condition especially under the harsh living conditions in Israeli prisons and detention camps.
