Israeli occupation authorities informed the Palestinian side of closing Erez border crossing, in the Gaza Strip, on Sunday, to allow the entry of humanitarian cases only.
Director of Public Relations and Information Mohammed Al – Maqdama said that Israeli occupation forces announced the closingof the crossing for Palestinian travelers, with the exception of pressing humanitarian cases and return entries.
He explained, according to Al Ray, that the Israeli side closed the crossing in response to demonstrations staged by the residents, over the weekend, and following a delay in the reaching of an expected ceasefire agreement with Hamas.
