UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Nickolay Mladenov, on Thursday, condemned an attack by Jewish settlers, on the convoy of Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah, as he was returning from Midnight Mass in Bethlehem, on Christmas Eve.
“The stoning attack on Palestinian Prime Minister Hamdallah’s convoy on Christmas is a very worrying incident,” Mladenov said.
He continued: “It is absolutely unacceptable and the perpetrators must be brought to justice. Stones can kill — it was at the same spot that, Aisha al-Rabi, lost her life in October.”
“Such violence must stop immediately.”
