Army closed on Wednesday Al Matahen and Abu Holy checkpoints in the central Gaza strip.
Residents were detained at the two checkpoints under inhuman conditions, while unable to reach their homes, work or schools, eyewitnesses reported.
Closing Al Matahen and Abu Holy checkpoint practically means dividing the Gaza Strip into three isolated cantons.
