Monday afternoon, Israeli apaches fired several missiles at Palestinian areas in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, a Palestinian security source reported.

At least one missile was fired at Beit Hanoun causing damage, no injuries were reported.

An Israeli military spokesperson claimed that the missile was fired at an area which was used earlier to fire homemade shells at Israeli targets, one Palestinian home was damaged.

Also, soldiers shelled an area in Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip; one home was damaged.
