Israeli soldiers fired several shells at areas in the northern Gaza Strip, the targeted areas are said to be uninhibited.
 
An Israeli army source reported that a Palestinian resistance group fired a homemade shell at Ashkelon causing no damage or injuries.
 
The source stated that soldiers shelled areas, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, used as launching pad for Qassam homemade shells.
 
Earlier on Sunday, army said that three homemade shells were fired at Sderot and Nativ Ha’sara; no damage or injuries were reported.
