Israeli army forces installed a military checkpoint between Farkheh and Qaraweh villages, north of the West Bank city of Salfit on Thursday morning, preventing the free movement of residents.
Troops forced residents to wait for hours as they checked ID cards. Israeli military planes were seen dropping soldiers in the area, eyewitnesses reported.
