A Palestinian medical source at Kamal Adwan Hospital, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, reported that one resident was killed after the Israeli army, stationed at the northern borders of the Gaza Strip, fired tank shells at Beit Lahia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip; four residents were injured, one seriously.

 

The killed resident was identifed as Hasan Hussein Al Shafi’ey, 55; he was killed while farmming his land.

Palestinian security sources in Gaza reported that troops fired dozens of tanks shells at the towns of Beit Lahia, Beit Hanoun, the Bedouin area, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, and Al Shujaeyya area, east of Gaza city.

Palestinian resistance factions also resumed the firing of homemade shells at Israeli towns close to the borders of the Gaza strip.
