A Palestinian police source reported that an unknown gunmen burned the vehicle of Wasfi Kabha, Palestinian Minister of Detainees and ex-detainees in the Hamas-led government, Sunday evening in Jenin, north of the West Bank.
The attack took place near the house of the Hamas-minister while he was in Ramallah.
Commenting on the attack, Kabha stated that this attack is carried out by what he described as “the collaborators with the Israeli occupation”.
Jenin is considered the headquarters of the Al Aqsa Brigades, the military wing of Fateh movement.
Kabha did not accuse the brigades or any Palestinian side but called on the Palestinian factions and armed groups to stop the enmity between them in order to avoid further excitation in the internal clashes that caused casualties among members of Fateh and Hamas, and casualties among the Palestinian civilians.
