Earlier Monday, Israeli soldiers invaded the Al-Fawwar and Al-‘Arroub refugee camps, situated north and south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank’s southern region. The soldiers stormed and ransacked numerous homes before abducting nine Palestinians, including children.
Media sources reported that the soldiers interrogated several Palestinians in the Al-‘Arroub refugee camp before abducting four children: Qais Nasser Shehda, Islam Ata Kotkot, Walid Abu Tama’a, and Hamza Omar Muheisin.
In the Al-Fawwar refugee camp, the soldiers abducted Hasan Al-Bayed, Islam Al-Anati, Mahmoud Ahmad Al-Anati, Amin Sawalha, and Hasan Ahmad Sarahna after breaking into their homes and ransacking them.
Additionally, the soldiers invaded the Abu Kteila area in Hebron city, storming and searching several homes. They also marked the properties with paint, particularly those belonging to Afif, Rafiq, and Soleiman Al-Haimouni.
In related developments, Israeli forces also invaded the town of Ethna, west of Hebron, where they stormed and ransacked several homes.
On Sunday evening, illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers set fire to a Palestinian store owned by members of the Abu Shaker family on Shallala Street in the Old City of Hebron. Palestinian firefighters rushed to the scene and extinguished the flames before they spread to nearby stores and homes.
