Raje Al Batat, 15, was arrested by the Israeli army troops stationed at Tarqomia checkpoint Tuesday.
Batat, who is a resident of Al Thahria village south of the West Bank city of Hebron, was stopped along with his sister and brother while going to visit their older brother, a prisoner in an Israeli jail.
Soldiers stopped the family members, searched them, and then detained Batat and his brother, 11, for several hours before arresting Batat for allegedly having a knife with him, his sister said.
