A senior official at the Preventive Security force in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, reported that gunmen attacked on Sunday at dawn with shells and live rounds a center from the Preventive Security force in the city, no injuries were reported.

Lieutenant Nabil Khamees Abdeen, head of the Human and Financial Resources Department at the Khan Younis headquarters said that members of the Al Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, fired five shells at the headquarter causing damage to it and several surrounding houses, the Arabs48 news website reported.

According to Abdeen, the attack also caused damage to the windows of a nearby clinic. He added that the group also fired shells at security men topping a building in the area, damage was reported.
