Israeli soldiers took one resistance fighter prisoner in Hebron, in the
southern part of the West Bank, after using civilians as human shields,
local sources reported.

The sources stated that at least ten armored military vehicles surrounded the house of Abdul-Rahman Amro, 38, for four hours and fired rounds of live ammunition at his house and several surrounding houses.

Amro was taken prisoner after four hours when soldiers took three residents as hostages and used them as human shields while breaking into his house.

He was moved to an unknown destination after the soldiers searched his houses, damage was reported.

Amro is a member of the Al Aqsa Brigades, the armed wing of Fateh movement.
