On monday afternoon armed men opened fire on the car carrying Ibrahim Salah as he was travelling in the centre of Gaza City, injuring his comapion but avoiding him.
The car was following a jeep containing Salah's companions, according to sources in the city.
At 12:30, as they arrived opposite the Al-Iskan Bank in the Al-Rimal neighborhood of downtown Gaza City an armed group opened fire directly at them.This lead to the injury of Muhammad 'Abed Al-Khaleq Al-Khaldi, one of Salah's companions.
Salah has survived a previous attempted assasination when during the second intifada, Isreali forces arracked his home, killing his child.
