Palestinian medical sources reported that four residents were wounded on Wednesday at dawn when the Israeli air force fired several missiles at farmlands in Al Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City. The four residents suffered mild-to-moderate wounds. All of the wounded live in the bombarded area, and were moved to Al Shifa Hospital, in Gaza City.

The Israeli army claimed that its forces targeted a weapons storage in the neighborhood.

The army added that the storage is used by Hamas fighters, and that the shelling came in retaliation to homemade shells fired into the Western Negev.
