A Palestinian youth was killed by Israeli soldiers as they opened fire at a nonviolent protest on Wednesday east of Gaza City.
Palestinians along with international supporters gathered near the boarders east of Gaza demanding the halt on the buffer zone construction in the area. As soon as the crowed reached buffer zone troops opened fire killing Ahmad Deep, 19 years old.

Doctors said that a number of local and international protesters sustained moderate and critical wounds due to the army fire.

Israeli tanks and bulldozers operate at border areas in the Gaza strip; bulldozers uproot trees and destroy crops owned by local farmers to create a buffer zone near the borders.
