Palestinian medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported that Israeli soldiers shot and injured a Palestinian man, on Sunday at dawn, east of Al Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City.Adham Abu Salmiyya, media spokesperson of the Higher Committee of Medical Services, reported that the youth, in his twenties, was shot in his right leg and was
moved to the Orthopedic Unit at the Al Shifa Medical Center in Gaza.
The wounded resident suffered moderate wounds and is currently in a stable condition.
The shots came from soldiers stationed at an Israeli military tower in the Malaka military base, east of Al Zeitoun.
In other news, the Israeli Authorities decided, on Sunday morning, to partially open the Kerem Shalom (Karem Abu Salem) crossing trade between the Gaza Strip and Israel.
