Media sources reported that several Palestinian refugees have been killed during clashes that took place in Palestinian refugee camps in Syria.The sources said that a Palestinian youth, identified as Moneer Al-Khatib, was killed on Monday evening during clashes that took place between members of the Syrian Army and the “Free Army” in the Al-Yarmouk refugee camp, south of Damascus.
Also, an elderly woman identified as A’esah Abu Ash-Shukr, was killed in the outskirts of the camp as she was trying to escape the shelling and clashes; several refugees have been injured.
Furthermore, a Palestinian youth, identified as Amjad Abu Hamed, was killed after several shells were fired into the Rabee’a area in the camp.
The Yarmuk News reported that several refugees have been killed in the Sbeina refugee camp after it was heavily bombarded earlier in the day.
Some of the slain refugees have been identified as Maher Qarqash, Jihad Omar As-Sa’dy, Ahmad Hussein Hamed, and Ahmad Ibrahim Issa.
Also, Mahmoud Qassem was killed after a number of shells were fired at the Yarmouk Street, in Damascus, several refugees have been injured.
Hundreds of Palestinians have been killed and thousands have been injured in the ongoing clashes in Syria.
