Israeli sources have reported that Palestinian security officers allegedly managed to uncover and foil a drone attack planned by the Hamas movement, in Hebron, in the southern part of west Bank. The sources said that P.A. officers uncovered a “Hamas cell” preparing and planning to attack an Israeli target by an explosive-laden drone.

Alleged cell members are said to be students of the Hebron University; Israel says they conducted a field test on the drone, but were taken prisoner by Palestinian security officers before they managed to actually conduct their actual attacks.

The Israeli Military confirmed the report, and said that the army has recently managed to uncover many cells planning to attack Israeli targets in different parts of Palestine.

Back in April this year and in October of last year, the Israeli Air Force downed two drones operated by the Lebanon-based Hezbollah party.
