[Tuesday evening, June 24, 2014] Several Israeli military vehicles invaded Ya’bad town, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, and kidnapped one child. Several Palestinians received treatment for effects of teargas inhalation.Local sources said the soldiers kidnapped Mahmoud Bassam Hamarsha, 14, after the army searched the family home, and ransacked it.
The sources added that several armored military vehicles invaded the town, before the soldiers fired rounds of live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets and gas bombs, causing several Palestinians to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation.
Clashes have also been reported between the invading soldiers, and dozens of local youth.
The also soldiers surrounded the town, preventing the residents from entering or leaving it.
In related news, soldiers invaded ‘Aneen village, west of Jenin, and drove in its streets and alleys, no arrests were reported.
