Israeli soldiers assaulted, Friday, the weekly nonviolent protest in Kufur Qaddoum town, in the northern West Bank district of Qalqilia, after invading it.The Popular Committee in Kufur Qaddoum said the soldiers surrounded the town, while sharpshooters topped a number of homes, preventing the protesters from marching towards their orchards and lands.
The Committee added that the soldiers fired several live rounds, and rubber-coated steel bullet; no injuries were reported.
Clashes took place in the town, and the soldiers fired gas bombs and rubber-coated steel bullets; medics provided a few residents the needed treatment for the effects of tear gas inhalation.
