A foreign citizen was stabbed in a West Jerusalem bus stop, this Sunday morning. The Palestinian man manage to run away but was arrested, shortly after, by the Israeli police.According to Jerusalem Post, a Palestinian man stabbed a woman near a bus station in Jerusalem, on Shamgar street, this morning.
The foreign woman (her nationality not known at the time of PNN’s report), in her thirties, sustained a moderate wound in her back. She was evacuated to Shaare Zedek Medical Center.
According to Israeli police, “an initial investigation revealed that the woman was standing next to a bust stop on Shamgar street, when a Palestinian man approached her and stabbed her in the back before fleeing the scene.”
Earlier on Sunday, a Palestinian man was shot dead after allegedly stabbing and injuring an Israeli police officer near the Damascus gate, in occupied East Jerusalem.
