Israeli soldiers abducted, on Monday at dawn, a Palestinian man from Jub ath-Theeb village, east of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, after stopping him at a roadblock near the village, and illegally confiscated his car.

The soldiers installed a military roadblock near Hindaza area, east of Bethlehem, stopped and searched many cars, and abducted Riyadh Khamis al-Wahsh, 45.

The Palestinian, from Jub ath-Theeb village, was interrogated while the soldiers searched his car, and inspected his ID card, and was later taken prisoner, before being moved to Etzion military base and security center, south of Bethlehem.

The soldiers also illegally confiscated al-Wahsh’s car after thoroughly searching it, in addition to searching many Palestinian cars.

Also at dawn, the soldiers imposed a strict siege, and closed roads with concrete blocks and sand hills, isolating the village of Shuqba and Rantis villages, northeast of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, preventing the Palestinians from entering or leaving them.
