Israeli occupation forces abducted three Palestinian civilians on Thursday during an invasion by illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers in Khirbet Hribat al-Nabi, located in the Masafer Yatta region of southern Hebron in the occupied West Bank.
Activist Osama Makhamra reported that a group of colonizers, under the protection of Israeli soldiers, invaded Khirbet Hribat an-Nabi and attempted to assault residents. Locals confronted the attackers in defense of their community.
During the attack, Israeli occupation forces abducted Mahmoud Abdul-Mohsin Rashid, Emad Abdul-Mohsin Rashid, and elderly resident Ali Sabah Abu Ali.
Makhamra added that colonizers released their livestock into Palestinian-owned lands and between homes across several villages and hamlets, notably Khirbet al-Fakhit, al-Taban, and Qawawis.
Meanwhile, colonizer bulldozers continue to carve roads and raze Palestinian lands in the village of Birin.
The extremist colonizer organization Regavim was also seen filming Palestinian homes in Khirbet Khallet al-Dabe’ and other residential areas throughout Masafer Yatta.
In related news, Israeli soldiers invaded Tuqu’ town, southeast of Bethlehem, and fired several gas bombs and concussion grenades, especially near the local Town Council, before withdrawing.

All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.
Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory”.
