Israeli forces abducted four Palestinians, including a former prisoner, from the northern West Bank governorates of Jenin and Nablus, on Saturday, and shot a journalist in Beita town, south of Nablus, on Friday.

At dawn Saturday, occupation forces invaded the town of Jaba’ southwest of Jenin, in the northern occupied West Bank, and abducted two young men, sparking protests.

In the afternoon, occupation soldiers stationed at a military roadblock southwest of Jenin, and abducted another young man from Jaba’ town.

Media sources said that soldiers abducted the young man, Hamza Tayseer Jaber, when he entered the “Dotan” military roadblock, southwest of the city.

It is important to mention that Hamza is the brother of the detainee, Youssef Tayseer Jaber, who was abducted from his home at dawn.

Meanwhile, undercover Israeli soldiers kidnapped a Palestinian young man in the northern West Bank city of Nablus, on Saturday morning.

Media sources said that undercover agents (Musta’ribeen) infiltrated the Old City of Nablus, stormed the Shabaro bakery, and kidnapped the former prisoner, Mohammad Shabaro, with military reinforcements.

In related news, occupation forces shot a Palestinian journalist and injured others, on Friday afternoon, during a anti-settlement demonstration in Beita town, south of Nablus.

Media sources said that the journalist, Sedqi Rayan, sustained a rubber-coated steel round to his head while covering the events of the day.

Sources added that the soldiers attempted to suppress the march by firing live rounds and tear gas canisters, resulting in Rayan’s injury and others who sustained inhalation injuries.

Israeli forces targeted citizens with tear gas canisters and blocked their path, denying them entry to the lands near Mount Subeih, where illegal colonizers erected the “Avitar” settlement outpost.
