On Friday dawn, several Israeli military vehicles invaded the eastern area of Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, leading to protests, before the soldiers shot two Palestinians, and abducted four from their homes.
Media sources said the soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades at the Palestinian protesters during ensuing protests.
They added that the soldiers shot two young men with live rounds, one in the neck and one in the shoulder before the medics rushed them to a hospital in Nablus.
The medics also treated at least thirty Palestinians who suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation, lacerations, and bruises.
Furthermore, the soldiers stormed and ransacked many homes before abducting four young men, Amer Al-Masri and former political prisoner Abdullah Qatanani, from the Housing Projects area, in addition to Mohammad Hisham Sa’ad and Radwan Al-Qatanani, from the Askar refugee camp.
It is worth mentioning that Amer is the brother of Moath Al-Masri, 35, and Abdullah is the brother of Hasan Qatanani, 35, who Israeli soldiers killed on May 4th, 2023.
