On Tuesday, Day 312 of the ongoing genocide of the Palestinians in the besieged, starved and destroyed Gaza Strip, Israeli missiles and shells killed and injured dozens of Palestinians, including women, children, and newborns.

Four Palestinians, including two children, were killed and many were injured when the army bombarded Al-Qastal Towers, east of Deir Al-Balah, in central Gaza.

Five Palestinians, including a father from Sayyed family and his son, were killed and many were injured when the army fired a missile at a home in the Al-Boreij refugee camp, in central Gaza.

Also, one Palestinian was killed, and several were injured when the army fired a missile at a home for the Darwish family in the Al-Maghazi refugee camp, in central Gaza.

In an earlier bombing of Al-Boreij, Israeli missiles struck a home in the refugee camp, killing four Palestinians, including two children, and wounding many others.

Medical sources have confirmed that the army also killed newborn twins, only three days of age, and their mother, Jomana, in a bombing targeting their home, east of Deir Al-Balah.

The father, Mohammad Abu Al-Qomsan, had the birth certificates of his newborn twins issued moments before he received news about their deaths by the Israeli missiles when they were only three days of age.

Mohammad married Dr. Jomana Farid Arafa, 28, in July 2023, before they fled from Gaza City to Deir Al-Balah, and then had to live in a tent in the Zahra’ city in central Gaza, before fleeing again to placement camp near Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al-Balah.

In Gaza City, the army fired a missile at a home for the Abu Alwan family in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, killing and wounding many Palestinians, including children and women.

In Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, the army fired missiles at homes and streets in Al-Qarara town, north of the city, killing at least two Palestinians and wounding many.

In Abasan Al-Kabira town, east of Khan Younis, the army fired a missile at a home, killing ten Palestinians and wounding many, mostly children and women.

In Rafah, casualties were reported in Israeli bombings and shelling of several parts of the city, while the army continued to wire and detonate residential blocs, in the western part of the city.

A report by the Israeli daily Haaretz revealed that the Israeli army is using Palestinians, including children and elders, as human shields in tunnels and buildings, in the Gaza Strip.

Also, the Israeli army issued orders forcing the Palestinians to immediately evacuate Khan Younis, as it prepares for a more extensive assault on the area.

The Israeli army issued many evacuation orders this week to expand the ground offensive in Khan Younis, which has already led to the displacement of more than 75.000 Palestinians in the past few days, the United Nations said.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said the Israeli evacuation orders now cover about %85 (305 Square kilometers or 117 square miles) of the entire Gaza Strip.

Ak-Jazeera English said that UN undersecretary-general for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs, Rosemary DiCarlo, “has been addressing the UN Security Council in an urgent session over Israel’s August 10 attack on the al-Tabin School in Gaza City,” and quoted DiCarlo stating that “devastating Israeli attack that prompted the meeting indicates the need to reach a ceasefire, free the captives and scale up humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.”

“International humanitarian law, including the principles of distinction, proportionality, and precautions in attack, must be upheld at all times,” she said.

“With hostilities continuing across the Strip … the situation remains catastrophic for civilians. No place is safe in Gaza, yet civilians continue to be ordered to evacuate to ever-shrinking areas,” DiCarlo added.

Al-Jazeera also reported that US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken has approved $20 Billion for the sale of military equipment, including fighter jets to Israel, and added that “Earlier this week, Washington released $3.5bn to Israel to spend on US weapons and military equipment in line with Congress legislation.

The Palestinian Health Ministry stated that the Israeli army committed two massacres of families across the Gaza Strip, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians, including 32 slain Palestinians and 88 wounded who were evacuated to medical centers.

Israel has now killed at least 39.926 Palestinians and injured more than 92.240, including at least 16.365 children and 11.012 women, in addition to the thousands of Palestinians (about 10.000 including 4.700 children and women), who remain under the rubble, on destroyed streets and in bombarded alleys across the coastal enclave, since October 7, 2023.
