Updated: Israeli forces continued their assault on the entire population of 2.2 million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip for the 354th straight day on Tuesday, with ongoing and continued Israeli airstrikes in Gaza. This follows the slaughter of nearly 500 people in Lebanon the previous day as Israeli forces launched a series of bombings on the civilian population in southern Lebanon and the suburbs of the capital, Beirut.

Seven Palestinians were killed and others were injured, at dawn on Tuesday, in an Israeli airstrike on Khan Yunis city, south of the Gaza Strip.

Two of the slain Palestinians and at least five of the wounded were in a home the army bombarded in the Tahliya area, in Khan Younis. At the same time, five Palestinians were killed and many were injured in a bombarded home for the Harb family in the city.

Palestinian paramedics recovered the bodies of five Palestinians and many wounded, following an Israeli raid that targeted the home of the Harb family in the vicinity of the Qalaa housing complex in Khan Younis; they were transferred to Nasser Hospital in the city.

Israeli warplanes also launched a raid at dawn today on the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, while occupation forces fired on citizens’ homes in the Tel Al-Hawa and Al-Sabra neighborhoods in Gaza City.

In central Gaza, an Israeli military drone fired a missile at a car in Deir Al-Balah, killing two Palestinians and wounding at least three, in the eastern part of the city.

The Israeli occupation forces have continued their aggression on the Gaza Strip by land, sea, and air since October 7, 2023, resulting in the killing of 41,455 citizens and the injury of 95,878 others, most of whom are children and women, while thousands of people are still missing under the rubble.

Among the slain Palestinians are at least 16,640 children, 11,410 women, 183 journalists and 23 emergency responders, 885 medical staff, 82 Civil Defense staff, and 211 UNRWA staff.

The British Lancet Medical Journal and other experts estimate the death toll in Gaza is much higher – and could be above 200,000 when counting both direct and indirect deaths related to the Israeli war on Gaza.

This most recent escalation of Israel’s ongoing military occupation of Palestine began October 7th 2023 when 1,143 Israelis were killed, including 767 civilians and 376 armed soldiers. Around 500 Israeli soldiers have been killed between October 7th and now – both in Gaza and on the Israeli border with Lebanon.
