On Saturday, Day 407 of the ongoing genocide, the Israeli army continued its bombing and shelling of various parts of the Gaza Strip, killing dozens of Palestinians, including a journalist, women, and children, and wounding scores across the coastal enclave.
Update: Five Palestinians were killed and many injured in a new Israeli air strike targeting a home in the western area of Nuseirat refugee camp; among the slain Palestinians are three women and one child.
Two Palestinians were also killed and many injured in Israeli bombings of the main entrances to the Al-Bureij and Nuseirat refugee camps, in central Gaza.
In northern Gaza, the army continued the wiring and detonation of many homes and residential buildings in the Jabalia refugee camp and fired many artillery shells at homes in Beit Lahia, in addition to firing missiles at various areas in the northwestern part of the Gaza Strip.
The army fired many missiles at schools housing displaced families in the Gaza Strip, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians, including children and women. The number of bombarded schools in northern Gaza in just two weeks is now twenty.
Additionally, a seriously wounded Palestinian died at the Nasser Medical Center in Khan Younis, in southern Gaza.
Medical sources in Khan Younis said dozens of slain and wounded Palestinians were moved to Nasser Medical Center after the army bombarded homes and buildings in Khan Younis and Rafah.
The Palestinian Health Ministry has reported that more than 45 Palestinians have been killed, and dozens injured by Israeli missiles and shells in several parts of the Gaza Strip on Saturday.
The preliminary death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has reached 43,799, with 103,601 wounded. Among the slain Palestinians are at least 17,385 children, 11,891 women, 2,421 elderly people, 183 journalists, 85 emergency responders, 1,054 medical staff, 496 education staff, and 203 UNRWA staff.
Reports also indicate that thousands of victims are still trapped under the rubble or in the streets, where it is impossible to reach them due to the ongoing bombing.
In Rafah, in Gaza’s southernmost part, medical sources reported that five Palestinians were killed, and others injured, when an Israeli drone struck a group of citizens east of the city.
Three Palestinians were also killed, and many injured, when an Israeli drone fired a missile at displaced Palestinians in the Jenina area, east of Rafah.
Additionally, at least two Palestinians were killed, and many injured, by Israeli missiles in the Khirbet Al-Adas area, north of Rafah.
A child succumbed to his injuries after an Israeli airstrike targeted a tent sheltering displaced individuals in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
The army also fired a missile at a home in the Qizan Abu Rashwan area, south of Khan Younis, killing four Palestinians and wounding many.
Furthermore, the army fired many missiles at the Sarsawi Street area in Jabalia An-Nazla, in northern Gaza.
In addition, Palestinian journalist Mohammad Saleh Sharif was killed in the Jabalia refugee camp after an Israeli military quadcopter drone fired live rounds at him.
Recently, the journalist and his family had to evacuate their homes in the Tal Az-Za’tar area, east of the Jabalia refugee camp, and moved into a relative’s house in Beit Lahia.
A few days ago, he returned to his home with his cousin to inspect the property and salvage what he could.
An Israeli quadcopter drone fired live rounds at them, killing his cousin and seriously wounding Mohammad, who bled for more than two hours before he died, as Palestinian medics were unable to enter the area due to the constant bombing and destruction.
It is worth mentioning that, for more than 25 days, the Israeli army has been preventing Palestinian medics and Civil Defense teams from operating in northern Gaza.
Furthermore, a Palestinian was killed and many injured in an Israeli artillery shelling near a mosque in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.
At least ten Palestinians were killed, and more than twenty were injured, many seriously, after the army fired missiles at a school, were dozens of families sheltered in the Shati’s refugee camp, in Gaza city.

In Deir Al-Balah, central Gaza Strip, several citizens were injured in an Israeli drone strike targeting a group of people.
In the Nuseirat refugee camp, in central Gaza, at least one Palestinian was killed and one injured by Israeli missiles in the Tabbet Nuweiri area.
The army also killed three women and one child, and injured many Palestinians near the Sawarha School, west of the Nuseirat refugee camp.
