Eight Palestinians were killed, and many others were injured, in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip since dawn Thursday, as Israeli occupation forces expanded field operations, targeted civilian vehicles, and struck tents sheltering displaced families, in continued violations of the “ceasefire” that began on October 11, 2025.

Israeli fire killed Mohammad Mahmoud Al‑Fayyoumi after occupation forces targeted a civilian vehicle near Abbas Junction in Gaza City. Al‑Fayyoumi, a former political prisoner, had been released under the “ceasefire” agreement.

Another citizen was killed and several others wounded when occupation forces struck a vehicle west of the city.

Local journalists confirmed that Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem survived an Israeli assassination attempt after a vehicle was targeted in the same area.

In central Gaza, Israeli forces shot and killed the child Mohammad Abu Khammash east of Deir al Balah. The army also shelled a displaced families’ tent on Yusuf Farhat Street in Nuseirat Camp, causing injuries, and carried out a new airstrike near Ard Al Helou.

In related news, Israeli occupation forces also burned large areas of Palestinian farmland east of the central governorate.

Additional violations were recorded around Al Maghazi and Al Bureij refugee camps, where Israeli artillery and armored vehicles fired toward surrounding neighborhoods.

In Gaza City, military vehicles and drones opened fire near Al Hashimiya School east of Al Tuffah, accompanied by bulldozer movements and expansion of field control. An explosion was heard in the northern part of the Strip caused by the demolition of homes.

In southern Gaza, areas in Rafah and Khan Younis were hit by intermittent shelling. Artillery targeted the Al Shakoush area northwest of Rafah, while Israeli reconnaissance aircraft flew over Al Mawasi.

Medical sources confirmed that two Palestinians were killed and several others injured when an Israeli drone fired missiles at residents in the area between Baten As‑Sameen and Al Hawouz, west of Khan Younis. All victims were moved to Nasser Hospital in the city.

The two slain Palestinians have been identified as Yahia Sa’id Mohammad Hamdan, 26, and Abdullah Suleiman Awwad Abu Yousef, 23.

Israeli naval vessels also fired toward the shores of Khan Younis and Rafah, and drones dropped explosives near Bani Suheila Roundabout east of Khan Younis.

In related news, the Israeli army announced it had assassinated Rashid Al Qadi in southern Gaza, claiming he was a commander in the Islamic Jihad production unit. The army also claimed responsibility for killing Abdullah Bahauddin as-Susi in northern Gaza, describing him as a sniper in Hamas’ military wing.

Israeli forces continue escalating field operations across the Strip, violating the “ceasefire” through artillery, aerial, and naval attacks targeting residential areas, displaced families’ tents, and shelters, alongside home demolitions and military movements in several sectors.

The Ministry of Health reported eight Palestinians killed in the past 24 hours, including one who succumbed to previous wounds, and seventeen injured.

Since the “ceasefire” began on October 11, 2025, the total number of Palestinians killed has reached 1,092, with 3,507 injured and 799 bodies recovered. Since the start of the genocide in Gaza on October 7, 2023, the cumulative toll has risen to at least 73,118 killed and more than 173,615 injured.

Many victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.
