On Monday, Day 98 since the resumption of the genocide in the devastated, starved, and besieged Gaza Strip on March 18 (and day 625 of the Israeli genocide against the people of Gaza), the Israeli army bombarded and shelled various parts of the coastal enclave, resulting in dozens of casualties.
Gaza hospitals confirmed that 43 civilians have been killed since dawn Monday in various parts of the Strip, including 20 people killed waiting for humanitarian aid.
Since May 27th, when the US-based Christian Zionist company “GHF” took over aid distribution in the Gaza Strip, replacing 400 distribution sites with just 4 ‘Squid Games’ style arenas where Palestinians are forced to wait many hours, then fight each other for small scraps of food, massacres at the so-called ‘aid sites’ have become a daily occurrence, with an average of 30 – 50 Palestinians killed each day. These attacks have increased in recent days as the Israeli-funded gangs have been given more weapons by Israel to strong-arm aid and sell the aid for incredibly exorbitant prices.
On Monday, Israeli troops killed at least 20 Palestinians competing for scraps of food in the ‘Hunger Games’ style gladiator arena set up by the US company GHF.

Five Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Monday when Israeli occupation forces opened fire on groups of civilians waiting to receive humanitarian aid near Bianco Resort, west of Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip. Palestinian Red Crescent paramedics reported that 10 people were killed and others injured and were transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital, west of Gaza City, as a result of direct targeting by the Israeli military on groups of citizens waiting for aid on Al-Rashid Coastal Road, near Al-Waha area, northwest of Gaza.
Medical sources reported that a number of other injured people waiting for aid were hit by direct fire from the occupation army in the same area, and many of these cases have been documented with video footage showing the shooting of starving civilians by the Israeli military.
Also Monday afternoon, Palestinian Red Crescent paramedics reported that three civilians were killed and others injured in an Israeli bombardment targeting a group of civilians near Al-Hashemia School in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City. The wounded were transferred to the city’s Baptist Hospital.
According to updated data, the number of people killed among those waiting for aid has risen to 20, with more than 136 injured today alone at aid distribution centers across the Gaza Strip. This brings the death toll of those “living victims” to 467, with more than 3,602 injured since the beginning of the occupation’s war of extermination.
This brings the total death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7 to 55,998 killed and 131,559 injured, amid warnings that a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them due to the ongoing bombardment and the dangerous situation on the ground .
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces bombed residential buildings east of Jabalia al-Balad, north of the Gaza Strip, causing widespread destruction as part of a policy of systematic destruction of residential areas .
In another development on the ground, the Israeli occupation army issued immediate evacuation orders for Blocks 107, 108, and 109 in the center of Khan Yunis, in preparation for an attack. The army noted that the orders do not include Al-Amal and Nasser hospitals, which are located nearby.
Heavy smoke rises after the occupation forces bombed a site in the western Satar area of Khan Yunis.
The occupation’s massacres continue, and the occupation’s killing of those seeking a livelihood does not stop. Scenes from the farewells of people who were killed that night in the bombing and aid massacres:

This is a preliminary toll, with a number of victims still under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulance and rescue crews.

Medical sources confirmed that several Palestinians waiting for humanitarian aid on Salah al-Din Street in central Gaza were injured after being directly targeted by Israeli soldiers. The same street was also hit by Israeli artillery shelling, particularly around the Wadi Gaza Bridge.
According to health officials, since food aid distribution centers became active late last month, Israeli attacks on Palestinians seeking assistance have killed at least 450 and injured over 3,466 others.
The Palestinian Center for the Protection of Journalists condemned the repeated targeting of the media camp near Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis by Israeli forces. The attacks, which occurred during operations in the southern and central areas of the city, caused bullets and missile fragments to strike the tents where journalists were stationed.
Due to the danger, many reporters were forced to evacuate the area under extremely risky conditions. The camp, comprising 38 press tents, supports roughly 280 journalists, most of whom remain stationed near the medical complex to continue field coverage.
The center described the attacks as a violation of international humanitarian law and an attempt to silence independent reporting from the ground.
Politically, Israel has rejected a recent report by the European Union raising concerns over potential human rights violations in Gaza and the West Bank. The report, compiled by the EU’s diplomatic service, indicated that Israel may be breaching its obligations under agreements requiring the protection of human rights and democratic values.
In response, Israeli officials criticized the report for what they described as “reliance on inaccurate information and a failure to acknowledge the complex security environment in which its army is operating.” The Israeli Foreign Ministry called the report “flawed both morally and methodologically,” arguing that it disregards efforts made to address humanitarian needs and misrepresents the reality on the ground.
The EU report drew from multiple independent sources to support its findings, intensifying scrutiny of Israel’s conduct amid rising civilian casualties and growing international concern over the situation in Gaza.
The United Nations and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) continue to emphasize the urgent need for unhindered humanitarian access to Gaza and the protection of civilians amid Israel’s ongoing military operations.

UNRWA, despite facing political pressure and unfounded allegations, remains a critical humanitarian actor in Gaza. An independent review commissioned by the UN concluded that Israel had not provided credible evidence linking the agency’s staff to any militant activity. The review affirmed that UNRWA has robust safeguards in place to preserve its neutrality and called for even greater transparency.
The UN Secretary-General has underscored the agency’s indispensable role in providing life-saving assistance to displaced Palestinians and reaffirmed support for its continued operations.
At the broader level, the United Nations has repeatedly called for adherence to international humanitarian law, denounced the high civilian toll, and urged all parties to protect civilian infrastructure, including schools, hospitals, and places of worship.
These statements come amid mounting international scrutiny of Israel’s conduct in Gaza, with increasing concern from UN officials, humanitarian agencies, and civil society over restrictions on aid, forced displacement, and the widespread destruction of civilian areas.
Since the beginning of this year, Israel has killed at least 6,347 Palestinians, including 1,265 children, 322 women, 235 elders, and 37 journalists.
Among the slain are at least 4,917 Palestinians, including 944 children, 132 women, 148 elders, and 26 journalists, who were killed since Israel violated the mediated ceasefire agreement on March 18, 2025.
Since October 7, 2023, the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza has claimed the lives of 55,959 Palestinians, including at least 16,507 children, 9,803 women, 4,036 elders, and 254 journalists, and wounded more than 131,242—primarily children, women, and the elderly. Countless victims remain trapped under rubble or in areas unreachable by ambulance and rescue teams.
