On Wednesday, Israeli forces bombed a group of Palestinian citizens, killing one and seriously wounded another, and demolished a home near Rafah city, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Media sources said that occupation forces killed the citizen, Tariq Khalil Halawa, 44, and seriously injured another when an armed Israeli drone bombed a gathering of citizens who were inspecting their homes in the “Abu Halawa” area, east of Rafah city.
Medical sources reported that the body of the slain man and a seriously injured citizen arrived at the European Gaza Hospital, east of Khan Younis.
WAFA correspondent explained that Israeli aircraft are bombing homes west of Rafah, while media sources said that the army destroyed a house in the Tel al-Sultan neighborhood, north of Rafah city; no injuries were reported.
Medical sources reported that Israeli forces killed 92 Palestinians and injured 822 others, despite the ceasefire agreement which came into effect on January 19, 2025 after more than 15 months of military aggression against the citizens in the besieged Gaza Strip.
Since the beginning of its military onslaught against the besieged Gaza Strip, on October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have killed 48,222 Palestinian citizens, most of whom were women and children, and wounded 111,674, while thousands of victims remain under the ruins of bombed buildings.
