On Thursday night Israeli forces killed two Palestinians, and injured another, in the village of Osarin, and ran over a young man with a military vehicle in the town of Awarta near the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

The General Authority of Civil Affairs informed the Palestinian Health Ministry of the deaths of the child, Jihad Adham Abdullah Odeili, 17, and the young man, Saif Ghassan Jabr Odeili, 19, adding that the army confiscated their bodies.

Media sources said that the army invaded the village of Osarin, southeast of Nablus on Thursday afternoon, sparking protests among local Palestinian youths.

Sources added that the army fired live rounds and tear gas canisters at Palestinians, shooting three youths with live ammunition, killing two and injuring a 20-year-old man.


The occupation army claimed that the slain and injured Palestinian youths were “throwing stones on a highway.”

According to Amid Ahmed, the director of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) emergency and ambulance center in Nablus, said that its ambulance crews transported a 20-year-old man to the hospital after soldiers shot him in the knee with live ammunition.

The Arab 48 News website reported that occupation soldiers ran over a young man with their armored vehicle at the Awarta military roadblock, south of Nablus on Thursday night; his condition was not known at the time of writing this report.

The same source said that Israeli forces stormed the village of Burin, south of Nablus, on Thursday evening, sparking protests among local Palestinians; no injuries were reported.

In related news, the Palestinian detainee, Musab Hassan Omar Adili, 20, died in Israeli custody, on Wednesday night in the Soroka Hospital in Israel.

Adili, a resident of the village of Osarin, south of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank, was detained by occupation forces on March 22, 2024 and sentenced to one year and one month in prison; he set for release in less than a week’s time when he died.

On Wednesday Israeli soldiers executed two Palestinian young men near Qabatiya town, south of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank.

The General Authority of Civil Affairs informed the Palestinian Health Ministry of the deaths of the two young men, identified as Mohammad Omar Mohammad Zakarneh, 23, and Marouh Yasser Rateb Khazimiya, 19.

Since the beginning of the year, Israeli forces have killed 125 Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank, including 22 children and 5 women, according to the Shireen Observatory.

Occupation forces have killed 53 Palestinians in Jenin, 20 in Tubas, 18 in Nablus, 14 in Tulkarem, 5 in Hebron, 4 in Bethlehem, 3 in Qalqilia, 3 in Jerusalem, 3 in Ramallah, and 2 in Salfit.

In the Gaza Strip, the overall death toll since October 7, 2023 has increased to 51,065, including women and children, while at least 116,505 Palestinians have sustained various degrees of injuries as a result of Israel’s military onslaught.
