On Tuesday, Israeli soldiers abducted three Palestinians, including a child, and caused damage to homes, in Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank.

Local media activist, Mohammad Awad, said many army vehicles invaded the town before the soldiers stormed and ransacked homes.

Awad said the soldiers abducted a former political prisoner, Diyar Evan Sleibi, 20, Wasim Nabil Bahar, 18, and Wasim Mohammad Shaqdam, 14, before moving them to the military base in the illegal Karmie Tzur colony, built on stolen Palestinian lands, south of the town.

Many Palestinians protested the invasion and hurled stones at the military jeeps while the soldiers fired rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
