Palestinian medical sources have reported that an infant suffered, on Tuesday at dawn, severe effects of teargas inhalation, after Israeli soldiers invaded Kufur Qaddoum, east of the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia. The soldiers also kidnapped one Palestinian.
Morad Eshteiwy, the coordinator of the Popular Committee against the Wall and Colonies in Kufur Qaddoum, said that the soldiers invaded homes in the town and searched them, before kidnapping a young man, identified as Salah Sobeh Jom’a, 22.
Eshteiwy added that the soldiers clashed with many youngsters, who hurled stones and empty bullets at the invading army vehicles, while the soldiers fired gas bombs, rubber-coated steel bullets, and concussion grenades.
An infant, identified as Farah Yousef, only four months of age, suffered severe effects of teargas inhalation and was moved to a local hospital.
In related news, the soldiers invaded Hijja village, east of Qalqilia, and searched the family home of Bashar Masalha, who was killed by the army of March 8, 2016.
Also at dawn Tuesday, the soldiers invaded the Jenin refugee camp and Ya’bad town, in the northern West Bank district of Jenin, searched homes and kidnapped four Palestinians.
