At dawn Wednesday, a large Israeli army force stormed the village of Talfit, south of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank, abducted 25 Palestinians and confiscated 15 vehicles.
Soldiers closed all entrances to the village and prevented entry and exit from it and conducted an extensive search and arrest campaign, invading and searching many homes.
According to Mahmoud Abu Aisha, head of the Talfit Village Council, the army abducted at least 25 Palestinians, took them to one of the houses in the village, turning it into a military barracks.
Abu Aisha added that soldiers invaded and searched dozens of homes and confiscated 15 privately-owned vehicles.
He said that at least 500 Israeli were deployed throughout the village, noting that it is the largest incursion in many years.
Meanwhile, the army invaded the city of Nablus from the eastern side, deployed in the Old City, and abducted Mustafa Abu Riyala, while they abducted Abdullah Nasr Shteiwi from the western part of the city.
