On Tuesday, Israeli forces have continued their military offensive on Tulkarem, in the northwestern occupied West Bank, for 107 consecutive days, while Nur Shams refugee camp has been under attack for 94 days, amid ongoing reinforcements and escalating field operations.
Reports indicate that Israeli troops continue to deploy military reinforcements, including armored vehicles and infantry brigades, into the city and its refugee camps.
Soldiers patrol main roads, blare sirens provocatively, drive against traffic, and disrupt civilian movement.
Israeli forces have also forced residents in Tulkarem’s eastern neighborhood, particularly near Abu Al-Foul Quarter in the Tulkarem refugee camp, to evacuate their homes.
On Monday night, the Ziqan family was ordered to vacate their home by 8 a.m., as part of repeated forced displacements in the area.
On Tuesday morning, Israeli troops set up a military roadblock near Jabara Bridge at Tulkarem’s southern entrance, stopping vehicles, inspecting IDs, and interrogating passengers.
Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps remain under siege, with continuous explosions heard across the besieged area. Witnesses reported a massive explosion late Monday night in Nur Shams refugee camp, though details on the cause and damage remain unclear due to the tight blockade restricting movement.
Israeli occupation forces have intensified demolitions in Nur Shams refugee camp, targeting residential areas in Al-Manshiyya, Al-Maslakh, Al-Jame’, Al-‘Eyada, and Al-Shuhada neighborhoods.
The destruction is part of an Israeli plan to demolish 106 homes and buildings in Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, leaving residents fearful of further demolitions.
Local estimates indicate that 15 buildings, including multiple apartments, were demolished last week, with residents forcibly displaced after receiving prior evacuation orders.
Israeli forces have also seized homes and residential buildings along Nablus Street and the adjacent northern neighborhood, converting them into military outposts after forcing residents to evacuate. Some buildings have remained under Israeli control for over two months, with military vehicles stationed nearby.
The ongoing Israeli offensive on Tulkarem and its refugee camps has resulted in the killing of 13 Palestinians, including a child and two women—one of whom was eight months pregnant. Dozens have been injured and arrested, while widespread destruction has affected homes, businesses, vehicles, and infrastructure, with many properties burned, looted, or demolished.
The offensive has triggered a mass displacement crisis, forcing over 4,200 families—more than 25,000 people—to flee from Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps. More than 400 homes have been destroyed, while 2,573 others have sustained partial damage. Israeli forces have also sealed off entrances and alleys with dirt barriers, turning the refugee camps into isolated zones devoid of normal life.
Since the beginning of 2025, Israeli occupation forces and illegal paramilitary colonizers have killed 138 Palestinians in the West Bank—among them 24 children and 5 women.

In addition, since October 7, 2023, these forces have killed 982 Palestinians in the West Bank, including 187 children, 22 women, 1 journalist, and 2 medics.
In the Gaza Strip, medical sources have confirmed that the Israeli army assassinated wounded Palestinian photojournalist Hasan Islayeh while receiving treatment at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
Since the resumption of the genocide on March 18, 2025, at least 3,227 Palestinians, including 538 women and 551 children, have been killed, with thousands more injured.
Since October 7, 2023, Israeli attacks have killed more than 52,862 Palestinians, including at least 15,626 children, 9,807 women, 3,855 elderly individuals, 237 journalists, and 23 medics. At least 119,648 people—mostly children, women, and the elderly—have been wounded.
The figures remain incomplete, as many victims are still trapped under rubble or in areas inaccessible to rescue teams due to massive destruction caused by ongoing Israeli bombings and invasions.
