Israeli soldiers kidnapped, on Thursday at dawn, at least eleven Palestinians from their homes, and on military roadblocks, in different parts of the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) has reported that the soldiers kidnapped three Palestinians in the northern West Bank district of Nablus.
One of them, identified as Bassam Abdullah E’daily, 18, was taken prisoner from his home in Beta village, south of Nablus.
The second Palestinian, identified as Mahmoud Issa Hamama, from Nablus city, was kidnapped while crossing Huwwara roadblock, south of Nablus.
Another Palestinian, a former political prisoner identified as Ali Lolah, was kidnapped from his home in Awarta village, southeast of Nablus.
The PPS added that the soldiers also kidnapped a former political prisoner, identified as Mohammad Sati Daraghma, while crossing Za’tara roadblock, on the main Nablus-Ramallah road.
In addition, several army vehicles invaded Saida village, north of the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem, and kidnapped Mohammad Bassam Ajaj, 23, after breaking into his home and searching it.
Ajaj also suffered various cuts and bruises after the soldiers assaulted him.
The soldiers also invaded Yatta and Surif town, in addition to Hebron city, in the southern part of the West Bank, stormed and searched many homes, and kidnapped three Palestinians, identified as Mohammad Ibrahim Makhamra, 22, Ezzeddin Ghaleb al-Hour, 22, Ibrahim Hammad Zein, and Morad Sa’di al-Qawasmi, 21.
Al-Qawasmi is the brother of Marwan Al Qawasmi, who on September 23rd 2014, was extra-judicially assassinated by Israeli soldiers. ‘Amer Abu ‘Aisha was also killed in the attack.
In Bethlehem, several Israeli military vehicles invaded Wadi Ma’ali neighborhood, in the center of the city, and kidnapped Mahmoud Ahmad al-Balboul, 22, and his brother Mohammad, 26, after storming and searching their homes.
The two Palestinians are the sons of Ahmad al-Balboul, who on March 12th 2008, was assassinated along with three other Palestinians, by undercover Israeli soldiers, in Bethlehem.
Their sister, Nouran, was among 31 Palestinians, who were kidnapped on April 14th 2016.
