On Sunday morning, Israeli soldiers killed a Palestinian in Rafah, in the Gaza Strip’s southernmost part, in another serious violation of the ceasefire deal.

Media sources said the soldiers fired many live rounds at a Palestinian near the Shuhada Junction, in the center of Rafah, killing one Palestinian.

Eyewitnesses said the rounds were fired by Israeli army sharpshooters, stationed in the Salahuddin area.

On Sunday morning, Israeli soldiers shot four Palestinians in the Nuseirat refugee camp, in central Gaza.

On Saturday, the soldiers shot and injured dozens of Palestinians waiting to be allowed to return to their areas in northern Gaza.

The Palestinians were supposed to be allowed to return to northern Gaza, Saturday, but the soldiers attacked them with live fire, killing a Palestinian and injuring at least two others, in violation of the ceasefire agreement which came into effect just 6 days earlier.

The number of slain Palestinians in the coastal region has reached at least 47.283, including more than 17.841 children, and 12.298 women, and injured at least 111,166, largely children, women and elderly, since October 7, 2023.

In the West Bank, Israel has now killed 877 Palestinians, including 180 children, 17 women, 14 elders, 1 journalist, and two medics, since October 7, 2023.

On Saturday night, the Palestinian Health Ministry announced the death of the child, Laila Mohammad Ayman Al-Khatib, 2, after Israeli forces shot her in the village of Ash-Shuhada, southwest of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank.

On Saturday evening, medical sources said the soldiers shot and seriously injured Ahmad Mahmoud Hashash, 42, before Palestinian medics rushed him to a hospital in Nablus, where he succumbed to his serious injuries.

On Friday, Israeli forces assassinated two Palestinians, including a child, in the town of Qabatia, south of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank, bringing the number of slain Palestinians to 14, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression against Jenin, the Jenin refugee camp, and the surrounding towns and villages, on Tuesday.

The bodies of the slain Palestinians, including the child, Mohammad Amer Zakarnah, 17, and the young man, Mohammad Ragheb Kamil, 23, were buried in the town’s cemetery.
