Israeli occupation forces opened fire at a Palestinian-owned vehicle, shot a young man, abducted another, and stormed several towns and villages in the Ramallah governorate, in the central West Bank.
On Monday afternoon, Israeli forces stormed the town of Deir Ibzi’, west of Ramallah, triggering protests.
Soldiers live rounds and tear gas canisters at those who resisted the incursion, shooting a young man in the foot with live rounds.
The army also invaded the home of Ahmed Mustafa Fanun Hujair in the village, before abducting him.
In the town of Ein Arik, west of Ramallah, Israeli forces stormed a bakery and confiscated surveillance camera recordings.
Meanwhile, undercover Israeli agents (Musta’aribin) opened fire with live ammunition directly at a vehicle near the village of Kobar, northwest of Ramallah.
Inside the vehicle was former prisoner, Saleh Abu Zeid and his mother, neither one of whom was injured, but the vehicle sustained damage.
Palestine TV reported that the young man is a member of the “Fatah” youth leadership at Birzeit University.
Furthermore, occupation soldiers also invaded the village of Kobar, leading to protests but no injuries were reported.
Soldiers also stormed the town of Ni’lin, northwest of Ramallah in addition to storming the Satha Marhaba neighborhood in the city of Al-Biereh to the east.
On Monday night, the army once again invaded the Satha Marhaba neighborhood in Al-Biereh, while soldiers roamed the streets on foot and fired flares in the air.
Just before midnight on Monday, Israeli troops stormed the village of Budrus, west of Ramallah, but no arrests were reported.
According to the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS);
“the total number of arrests after October 7 rose to more than (3,760), and this total includes those who were arrested from homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage.”
