Illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers carried out a series of coordinated attacks across several districts of the occupied West Bank on Saturday, targeting Palestinian agricultural lands, Bedouin communities, and residential areas.
In al‑Mughayyer east of Ramallah in the central West Bank, colonizers grazed their sheep inside Palestinian farmland after cutting a metal fence surrounding the property, causing extensive damage to crops and trees.
Later, colonizer groups set fire to land near the village’s northern entrance, adding to the continuous attacks that residents report as part of an effort to pressure families and seize more land for colonial expansion.
The village and its surroundings have faced sustained colonizer assaults, including invasions of residential and grazing areas and repeated attacks on residents and their property.
Near al‑Khan al‑Ahmar east of occupied Jerusalem, colonizers attacked the “Mahtoush–al‑Arar’a” Bedouin gathering, throwing stones at homes and assaulting residents.
The al‑Baidar rights organization reported that colonizers also cut electricity and water lines to the community, worsening living conditions amid ongoing attempts to displace Bedouin families from the area.
Furthermore, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers invaded the Tabna Bedouin community near Al‑Khan al‑Ahmar, harassing families in ongoing attempts to forcibly displace them for colonial expansion.
In the central West Bank, colonizer groups closed the road between al‑Lubban ash‑Sharqiya and the city of Salfit, disrupting movement for residents.
In Nablus District in the northern West Bank, colonizers invaded the outskirts of Qabalan south of the city and attempted to seize a Palestinian home, prompting protests after residents confronted them.
In addition, a Palestinian man was injured when colonizers assaulted him in Khirbet at‑Tawil near Aqraba southeast of Nablus.
In another incident, colonizers grazed their sheep inside Palestinian agricultural land during an invasion of Beit Furik east of Nablus, damaging crops, and trees.
These incidents represent only part of the documented colonizer violations reported Saturday, as attacks on Palestinian communities, agricultural lands, and Bedouin gatherings across the occupied West Bank continue to escalate.
All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.
Article 33 of the Fourth Geneva Convention prohibits collective punishment and acts of terror against civilian populations.
Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory”.
Articles 53 and 147, prohibit the destruction of civilian property and classify pillage as a war crime.
