Israeli occupation forces carried out extensive invasions, movement restrictions, and abductions across the occupied West Bank on Saturday, targeting multiple towns, villages, and refugee camps while imposing sweeping closures on key roads and entrances.
In the central West Bank, large military units invaded the village of Aboud northwest of Ramallah, broke into commercial shops, and seized surveillance‑camera recordings.
Since early morning, soldiers kept both main entrances to Aboud and the nearby village of An‑Nabi Saleh sealed, preventing residents from entering or leaving.
Forces also installed a military roadblock at the western entrance of al‑Mughayyer east of Ramallah, where they abducted Abdullah As’ad Abu Alia.
Additional closures were imposed on the entrances of Rawabi, Atara, Ein Siniya, and other communities northwest of Ramallah, blocking movement toward Birzeit and restricting the passage of vehicles throughout the area.
Throughout the day, Israeli forces invaded several areas in Ramallah and al‑Bireh District, including Deir Jarir, at‑Taybeh, Silwad, al‑Mazra’a ash‑Sharqiya, and al‑Mazra’a al‑Gharbiya.
Earlier, soldiers invaded central Ramallah and fired tear‑gas canisters near the Palestinian Legislative Council building.
In occupied Jerusalem, forces invaded Bir Nabala northwest of the city, conducting searches and tightening movement restrictions.
In the northeastern West Bank, the army abducted Mo’ath Ibrahim Sawafteh from Tubas while he was passing through the Awarta military roadblock south of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
In Nablus District, Israeli special forces infiltrated Jerusalem Street near Balata refugee camp, surrounded a home belonging to the Abu al‑Leil family, and brought in reinforcements before abducting Faraj Abu al‑Leil.
A 14‑year‑old child was assaulted by soldiers and transferred to hospital. Protests also erupted during an invasion of the village of Odala southeast of Nablus.
In addition, Israeli occupation forces invaded the village of ‘Azzun ‘Atma, south of Qalqilia in northwestern West Bank, on Saturday evening. Local sources reported that the soldiers patrolled the village streets and installed a military roadblock, stopping civilian vehicles and interrogating the drivers, without reporting any abductions.
In a related development, Israeli occupation forces obstructed the movement of Palestinians east of Qalqilia after installing a military roadblock at the entrance of the village of Hajjah. Soldiers stopped civilian vehicles and inspected the ID cards of the passengers, causing significant delays and disrupting the flow of traffic.
In Hebron in the southern West Bank, soldiers abducted two Palestinians from the Yatta area. Forces invaded al‑Deirat east of Yatta and abducted Fares Mahmoud al‑Hamamda while he was herding livestock.
They also abducted Mahmoud Ahmad Abu ‘Arram after chasing shepherds in Wadi Rahil near ar‑Rakeez in Masafer Yatta. Illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers attacked the home of Nizam Taleb Shallalda in Wadi Sa’ir and attempted to push their sheep into the property before the family confronted them.
Israeli forces also installed multiple military roadblocks across Hebron District, closing main and secondary roads with iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds.
These incidents represent only some of the documented violations reported today, as Israeli military invasions, movement restrictions, and colonizer attacks across the occupied West Bank continue to unfold.
