Illegal Israeli colonizers attacked, Saturday, many Palestinians while harvesting their olive trees in their orchards in Teqoua Palestinian village, east of Bethlehem, in the central occupied West Bank.
Hassan Breijiyya, the head of the Bethlehem office of the Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission, stated that the colonizers came from the illegal Tekoa colony which was built on stolen Palestinian lands.
Breijiyya added that the colonizers attacked many Palestinians in their orchards in the Rakhma area in the village and tried to force them out of their orchards but the locals confronted them and forced them away.
It is worth mentioning that, last Wednesday, Israeli colonizers and soldiers attacked Palestinians in their olive orchards during a visit by Teddy Ceke, the head of the South African liaison office, who was visiting the area to observe the Israeli violations.
While attacks and violations by the colonizers are constant, a serious escalation occurs every year during the olive harvest season, across the occupied West Bank.
The attacks included burning and cutting Palestinian trees, harvesting trees and stealing the produce, in addition to attacking the Palestinians and in some cases flooding their orchard with wastewater from the colonies.
Also Saturday, the colonizers cut 45 olive trees and destroyed a well, near Nablus, in northern West Bank.
In addition, the colonizers attacked many Palestinian homes in Burin village, south of Nablus, causing damage, and wounding three Palestinians.
