On Friday, illegal Israeli colonizers burned six residential barracks in the Arab Mleihat community, northwest of Jericho in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.
WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli colonizers set fire to 6 residential barracks in the Arab Mleihat community, before dawn on Friday, leaving 20 Palestinian Bedouin families without shelter.
In a press statement, Hassan Mleihat, the general supervisor of the Al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights said that Israeli colonizers burned the homes of the citizens, Ibrahim Kaabneh, Jamal Mleihat, Atallah Mleihat, Jibril Kaabneh, and Mohammad Suleiman.
Mleihat stated that at approximately 1:00 am, dozens of Israeli colonizers invaded the al-Mu’arrajat area, under army protection, and set fire to residential and livestock barracks causing complete destruction.
According to Mu’ayyad Shaaban, the head of the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, the 20 affected families have been forced, for a second time in one month, to flee their land after several successive attacks by illegal settlers.
The WAFA News Agency reported that since the beginning of the year, at least 4 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli colonizers who have carried out at least 2,153 attacks against citizens on their own lands.
WAFA added that the colonial aggression has included the storming of Palestinian towns and villages, shooting at and physically assaulting citizens, burning civilian homes, establishing outposts, taking over citizens’ lands, and damaging or destroying vehicles.
Meanwhile, on Friday afternoon, a group of illegal settlers invaded the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah in the central West Bank.
Media sources said that a group of colonizers stormed the southern area of Burqa village, while driving motorcycles provocatively; there were no reports of confrontations.
Furthermore, Palestinians thwarted a settler incursion into the village of Deir Jarir, northeast of Ramallah, on Friday evening.
Media sources reported that local Palestinians confronted a group of Israeli colonizers who, under army protection, attempted to storm the western entrance of Deir Jarir.
The same sources added that occupation forces opened fire with live rounds and tear gas canisters at the Palestinians who were defending their land; no injuries were reported.
Later in the evening, Israeli colonizers invaded the outskirts of Douma village, southeast of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
Media sources said that a group of illegal settlers stormed Douma village, sparking protests among local Palestinian citizens.
The sources added that occupation forces provided full protection for the invading colonizers, while heavily firing live ammunition; there were no reports of injuries.
