On Wednesday evening, a group of paramilitary colonizers stormed Khirbet Hamsa in the Northern Plains of the occupied West Bank.

According to human rights activist Aref Daraghma, the paramilitary colonizers invaded the area, photographing residents’ structures and dwellings before inspecting their ID cards.

Earlier that day, occupation forces had invaded Khirbet Hamsa, seizing citizens’ property, including a solar power system and a horse-drawn cart.

This marked the second invasion of Khirbet Hamsa on Wednesday, with occupation forces searching numerous homes in the morning.

The Northern Plains of the West Bank are witnessing escalating daily violations by occupation forces, including home invasions, destruction, and property seizures.

These violations are accompanied by severe and frequent attacks by colonizers, who assault residents, intimidate them, prevent access to grazing lands, and steal property and livestock.

On Wednesday, Israeli soldiers abducted two young Palestinian men near Jericho in the occupied West Bank’s northeastern part.

All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory”.
